I've been posting over there under the name journey and it's just overun with loonies from the "Manhood academy". They're a bunch of freaks who just scream faggot all the time. No wonder the article was written to warn guys about them and no wonder the usual shameless feminists desperately link to them to try and discredit other sites that they have no actual answer to. Well done "Manhood" morons, the feminists should send you your thankyou note soon.
I only passed by the Manhood Academy once. Like so many MRA site I did not repeat my visit. I listened to a Podcast which was quite critical of Angry Harry and Paul Elam. So it does not surprise me that MND publishes an attack on the site. MND is another site I don't read so I am assuming that it was an attack.
It is rather sad but this is the pattern of my experience. Usually when I discover an MRA site I read it carefully (that is if it is 'readable' at all). Initially I am usually inspired by what I find but as I dig deeper this begins to evaporate. In many cases I end up being more alienated than convinced and abandon the site. Alternatively vicious verbal warfare erupts on the site and the level of crudity and abuse is such that I no longer visit.
I think for me this is a feature of MRA sites. There are other sites that I have managed to make daily visits for years and not feel the need to abandon them. Not all by the way are erotic sites.
So I will not be visiting the Manhood academy. To this you can add MND and Bernard Chapin. The Spearhead is still on my visiting list but is semi-detached. I come here and Men's New Daily where I comment regularly.
I don't usually correct my posts even though I frequently make a mess of them. In my last line I meant to say that I visit mensactivism.org not MND. Without this correction the post is rather contradictory.

ReplyDeleteWho do you think runs "Manhood" anyway? They may be stupid but still cunning enough to come up with a stunt like that.
